Where in DFW are there COVID-related discounts for healthcare workers, teachers, and more?

No, this post isn't about renting or buying homes, but it's still very important as the pandemic continues to impact all our lives. 

PuroClean: Free coronavirus cleanup services for healthcare workers.

PartyCity: They have gifted, and continue to gift, hundreds of both golden heart balloons and  party kits.

Air Pros USA: They are giving away HVAC UV lights to teachers and healthcare workers, and installing them for free. Those units help kill virus, mold, fungus, and more -- and anyone can nominate a teacher to get one right on their site.

PeopleFun: Donating to The North Texas Food Bank and Get Shift Done. PeopleFun employees were also given the opportunity to participate in a donation matching program for the month of April to boost their impact and give back to charities that they are individually passionate about.

Ellen's Restaurant: Ellen's Restaurant is supporting Fab Lab Dallas and WorkChops by giving back through education support during this time of coronavirus. Ellen's founder, Joe Graves, and team have also been helping vogelaclove deliver meals and supplies to children across Dallas County.

AdvantaClean of Ellis County: Jimmy Brown, franchise owner withAdvantaClean of Ellis County, provided free vehicle sanitizing for local emergency and medical service units. For several hours on April 13, the AdvantaClean crew cleaned and disinfected more than 25fire trucks,vans and police cars from the Waxahachie Fire and Police Departments and the Ellis County Police Department.

HUNGRY Dallas: Since March 27th, HUNGRY has donated over 225 meals to Dallas healthcare heroes on the frontline, vulnerable community members and first responders which included the following organizations: Carrollton Fire Dept., City House Shelter, Medical City of Plano, Methodist Hospital Dallas, Ronald McDonald House.

Aging Life Care: Aging Life Care Manager Carol Franzen’s Dallas Care Connections is offering free caregiver support groups: Dallas Area Parkinsons Society (DAPS), there is a caregiver support group that meets weekly via zoom; First Unitarian Church in Dallas caregiver support group for family members caring for someone with dementia or related issues via zoom, and Horizon Unitarian Church in Carrollton, the Candle Lighters early stage memory loss group meetings 2x a month via zoom.

Cinnaholic: A vegan bakery that is donating baked goods to local essential workers including those at hospitals, fire dept, and banks.

Tasty Tails: Cajun restaurant that partnered with other local restaurants to donate meals to healthcare providers. Meals delivered in Richardson and Greater Dallas area.

Town North Mazda: Car dealership that is offering free standard oil changes and enhanced cleaning services to health care providers. Part if its Essential Car Care Program. Service began 4/16 and is available to all makes and models of cars.
